  1. Do not usurp the wealth of orphans
  2. Learn the laws of inheritance and distribute it correctly.
  3. If there is a rift in marriage, stipulate two arbitrators from each spouse and try resolving any issues.
  4. Allāh does not oppress even the slightest.
  5. Allāh first prohibits performing ṣalāh while under the influence of alcohol, then moving onto instructing purity of the body. This indicates that both the mind and the body need to be pure before ṣalāh.
  6. Don’t be jealous of what Allāh has granted others.
  7. Fulfil your trusts
  8. Wherever you may be, death will catch up with you.
  9. You cannot be a true believer until you are content with the decision of Allāh and His Messenger صلى الله عليه وسلم.
  10. Obeying the Messenger صلى الله عليه وسلم is in fact obeying Allāh.
  11. Ponder over the meaning of the Qur’ān.
  12. When replying to a greeting, the reply should be better if not equal.
  13. If a people do not wish to fight the Muslims and instead propose to enter into a treaty with them, the Muslims have no right to engage them in combat.
  14. The punishment for killing a Muslim intentionally is Jahannam forever.
  15. Do not judge the Islām of an individual. If he outwardly shows his Islām, accept it.
  16. There is great reward promised for those that fight in the way of Allāh.
  17. Allāh should be feared more than the people:
  18. Whoever does a bad deed and then turns to Allāh seeking His forgiveness, will find Allāh to be Forgiving and Merciful.
  19. Whoever does a sin and then accuses another of committing it, has slandered and committed a grave action.
  20. If you have multiple wives, you should treat them all fairly.
  21. If Allāh so wills, He can get rid of us all and bring others in our place, who will do better than us.
  22. Be just when making decisions, even if it means deciding against one’s own kin.
  23. As long as we are grateful to Allāh after accepting Īmān, we shall be safe from His punishment.
  24. The Jews have a long history of misdemeanours with prophets.
  25. The laws of Allāh may sometimes seem outwardly unjust to us, but they are in reality fairer than we could ever have imagined.
