تعصي الرسول وأنت تظهر حبه***هذا لعمري في الفعال بديع

لو كان حبك صادقاً لأطعته***إن المحب لمن يحب مطيع

‘You disobey the Prophet ﷺ yet you express love for him; indeed this is a strange proclamation,
If your love for him was sincere, you would have obeyed him. Verily, a lover is obedient to his beloved.’
