1. No matter how hard you try to convince yourself or others of how you feel, Allāh knows the reality better than anyone.
2. If you jump at every call thinking its relevant to you, it is a sign of a guilty conscience.
3. The hypocrites would regularly do things that would deeply upset the Muslims, yet they couldn’t do much in retaliation given the circumstances. Allāh revealed this surah and many other āyahs to console the hearts of the believers.
4. Only Allāh has total control over the treasures of the heavens and the earth.
5. Do not let your wealth and offspring distract you from the remembrance and obedience of Allā
6. A person who doesn’t give zakāh will see the punishment before he/she passes away, and will desire to be given respite to make amends; a desire that shall not be allowed to be fulfilled.
